As Starbucks launched in South Africa, we had an opportunity to work on Print work as well as their in-store branding. Artifact also create localized imagery that would be used across all necessary marketing collateral. People queued up for their coffee as the store opened, and social media went wild.


Making use of the photography we created, whilst preparing for the launch, a series of teaser posts were broadcasted across various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Engagement on social media grew vastly leading to an exciting build up to the brand’s official opening.


Although we knew the launch of Starbucks would attract more than enough people, we sent out invites to an exclusive guest list and invited them to the launch of the first store in Rosebank.
