GO BE YOU

As Datsun GO launched in South Africa, Artifact created a campaign that would increase word of mouth, resulting in positive brand hype for Datsun. The Datsun GO is an entry level vehicle aimed at young, rising South Africans. We tapped into their love of creativity and individuality and launched the Datsun GO BE YOU Launch campaign.

MICROSITE

Whilst considering the customer’s user journey, we created a website, allowing users to customize their own Datsun GO. By doing this, participants stood a chance to win their customized version of the car. This resulted in a large amount of website traffic.

Our online media banners ran and directed people to the website where they were promoted to create their custom Datsun GO. We created the online banners in various animated banner formats and rich media banner formats for added visual appeal to drive users to the campaign.

We promoted the campaign on social media and garnered a massive following on our Facebook page. The fans shared their designs directly from the website to their social media feeds and news of the campaign spread.
