AS A FOUNDING MEMBER OF ARTIFACT, ANDY WAS THERE IN 1994 AND PROUDLY LEADS THE TEAM TODAY. HIS VISION OF THE COMPANY AS AN ADAPTIVE, FLEXIBLE, CREATIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP HAS MEANT THAT ARTIFACT DOESN'T FOLLOW THE TRADITIONAL AGENCY MODEL. THIS VISION HAS ENABLED THE COMPANY TO CONSTANTLY KEEP UP WITH THE CHANGING MEDIA LANDSCAPE AND ULTIMATELY DELIVER ON WHAT CLIENTS AND BRANDS REALLY NEED FROM A STRATEGIC, CREATIVE, ADVERTISING PARTNER.

WITH HIS ROOTS SET IN CREATIVITY, BLENDED WITH 20 YEARS OF BUSINESS EXPERIENCE, CREATIVITY RUNS THROUGH HIS VEINS AND ANDY LIVES THE CORE OF THE BUSINESS AND LEADS FROM THE FRONT.

SANDY SMITH

 

SANDY STARTED OUT IN RESEARCH AND GAINED INVALUABLE EXPERIENCE AS BRAND MANAGER AT WIMPY, SANDY WAS HEADHUNTED TO JOIN ARTIFACT AS CLIENT SERVICE DIRECTOR IN 2001. SINCE 2001 SANDY HAS SERVED AS ONE OF THE SENIOR BRAINS, TRUSTED WITHIN THE AGENCY WITH A VITAL INPUT INTO OPERATIONS, CO-ORDINATION AND MANAGEMENT. TODAY, WITH HER DUAL EXPERIENCE ON CLIENT AND AGENCY SIDE, SHE BALANCES BUSINESS AND BRAND OBJECTIVES WITH AGENCY PASSION, PURPOSE AND PERFECTION, AS SHE HEADS UP CLIENT SERVICE AND BUSINESS UNITS.

AS WE LIKE TO THINK OF IT - IF THE AGENCY IS A BIG PUZZLE BOARD, SANDY IS THE ONE WHO MANAGES ALL THE PIECES AND PUTS IT TOGETHER EFFORTLESSLY.

SANDY IS PASSIONATE ABOUT PEOPLE AND CLIENT SERVICE AND IS COMMITTED WITH A RARE SENSE OF CUSTOMER EXCELLENCE. HER MARKETING SKILLS MEAN THAT SHE CAN SOLVE PROBLEMS FROM BOTH A CLIENT AND AGENCY PERSPECTIVE.

Lindy began her career with a Social Science Bachelor’s Degree and then moved on to teaching, only to find her true calling in the world of advertising with Artifact in 2001. After 19 years of experience in client service, advertising and digital and marketing strategy, she believes that when your business is launching, growing rapidly or transitioning you need to address your new business challenges and marketing requirements in a new and creative way. She prides herself on analysing your business goals in order to give a realistic view on which marketing activities can assist in achieving these, with recommended budgets and timeframes tailored to your needs specifically.

AT ARTIFACT, WE PUT PREMIUM IMPORTANCE ON EXPERIENCE, ESPECIALLY LIFE AND BUSINESS EXPERIENCE.

PHILASANDE ESIHLE SOKHELA

 

Phila joined artifact advertising in 2017 and sits on the board as a non-executive director. Phila is currently our Business Unit Director (BUD) for the entire Telkom, BCX, Openserve an Yellow Pages group and 51% partner in our business.

Phila's strength lies in his project management abilities and his unwavering commitment to progress and results in the team and client management spaces. However, his skills and contributions to the Artifact business, and ethos, don’t simply end with his role as BUD as he often assists in the strategy, writing and implementation of large, long term marketing plans alongside the Artifactors on the ground.
